Lemon Grove Medians,
Lemon Grove, California
The project developed a complex theme for Lemon Grove Boulevard that reflected both the adjacent stream bed and seasonal color. Designed each median to have perennial color with leaves and grasses as well as a provide flowering plant material for each median for each season.

Holliandia Park

The Project implemented master plan to construction drawings for parking containing skate park, ball field, trails, parking and host accommodations.

San Diego Metropolitan Transit System San Diego State University Mission Valley East
San Diego, California
Project completed work on the proposed “underground” LRT station and adjacent plaza at San Diego State University. The project required extensive coordination with the SDSU campus, the SDSU Foundation, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System and the community. Areas of the campus adjacent to and impacted by the station and tunnel were redesigned as part of this project. These areas included hillside revegetation at the east and west portals; redesign of “Aztec Green,” SDSU’s central lawn area; as well as the transformation of the old transit center to pedestrian space. Efforts developed exterior design concepts, and prepared landscape plans and construction documents. The project won a Grand Orchid Design Award from the San Diego county community.

Highway 101 Streetscape
Encinitas, California
This project was a complex design and construction of streetscape improvement for 9 blocks of downtown Encinitas impacting over 200 business. Design provided traffic calming, entry signage, landscape, street furnishing and custom benches.
Garfield Elementary School Joint Use Park
San Diego, California
This project is a joint venture project between the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation and the San Diego Unified School District to develop perimeter fencing, gates and lawn. Designed to meet reduced water pressure for the area and crumbled recycled tennis shoe soles laid in on the lawn to reduce compaction from high use.
Los Angeles Zoo Rainforest of the Americas
Los Angeles, California
The $16 million project worked through the design development stage is the largest project undertaken by the Los Angeles Zoo. The exhibit will feature an immersion experience into simulated Central and South American Rainforest Habitat complete with Jaguars, Giant River Otters, Baird’s Tapirs, Black Howlers, Uakari, Crested Capushin, Golden Loin Tamarin, Emperor Tamarin, Tamandua, American Crocodile, Brocket Deer, King Vulture, Harpy Eagle and other birds.
Gaslamp Quarter District Improvement Study, Centre City Development Corporation
San Diego, California
The study completed detailed street furnishing and infrastructure inventory for historic 16 block neighbor of downtown San Diego and developed multiple improvement options to increase vehicular and pedestrian interface. Study took 18 months with multiple presentations to the Gaslamp Quarter Merchants Association and the Centre City Development Corporation.
CCDC Streetscape Manual, Centre City Development Corporation

The endeavor assisted in developing the underlying fabric that linked the different neighbors of downtown San Diego while setting them apart with their own distinct design. Efforts developed unique construction details and custom street furnishings and oversaw multiple construction projects.
Market Street Medians, Centre City Development Corporation

The project implemented master plant streetscape with the unique design element of tying into the emerging fault from the adjacent housing development. The design reflected the underlying fault line rising from the underground parking garage to the street and median.
North Chollas Community Park Phase 1A

This project developed entry road, bridge over creek, mitigation for bridge, 100+ space parking lot, plaza, intersection improvements and site furnishings for ball field.

East Clairemont Senior Athletic Field Renovation

This project was a renovation of high use ball field for proper drainage and field conditions. Field is popular with Little Leagues and Adult Senior Leagues.
Alpine School District – Joint use Ball fields
Alpine, California
This project developed two no water use softball fields with site furnishing and shade along with low water use football / soccer field.
H Street Medians
Chula Vista, California
This project develop streetscape and medians for an active transit corridor. Project designed color paving system for median for high strength quick cure concrete for immediate city bus service and interface with multiple commercial driveways.
University of California at Irvine, S – Memorial Plaza
Irvine, California
This project created a gathering space between classroom buildings providing shade and seating areas.
North Coast Cavalry Chapel
Carlsbad, California
The project planned the development a campus with a chapel, multiple outbuildings, plazas, parking lot, parking deck, corner entry and playground.
Kelly Ranch Child Development Center

The project is a preschool and child care facility and design developed entry paving and educational hillside planting.
Master Developer/Senior Project Manager, Orange County Great Park
Irvine, California
Mr. Morrison fulfilled the role of Master Developer responsible for the management of a multi-disciplinary, multi-national design and construction management team charged with the design, entitlement and construction of a 1,347-acre carbon neutral metropolitan park at an estimate $1.4 billion implementation cost. Project includes collaboration with local, state and national agencies and mitigation for an EPA Superfund Site. Reviewed and processed contracts, invoices, deliverables, permitting public presentation and feasibility studies. He was the point of contact for Client and various public agencies while managing multiple design, entitlement and construction projects totalling $25 million.
Senior Project Manager / Assistant Program Manager
Carlsbad, California
Mr. Morrison is responsible for working with multiple state and local agencies for the Carlsbad Unified School District to obtain approvals for the modification of several elementary schools, extensive modernization of the 50 year old Carlsbad High School and the development of a new 1,500 student high school. The approval process includes working with the Division of State Architect, Department of Toxic Substance Control, Army Corps of Engineers, Fish and Game, Fish and Wildlife as well as the City of Carlsbad. Mr. Morrison is responsible for assisting in the management of the $240 million Proposition P Program overseeing the application for matching state grants, budget & expense reporting, maintain the public information portal, clearing past approval issues and reporting to the Prop p Oversight Committee.
